RF Technology

RF Technology is continuing to extend boundaries in radio design and manufacture. In line with our previous announcements we have reached the challenging engineering benchmarks set last year.
We are pleased to announce the pre launch of the Eclipse 3 platform (a software-defined radio) as our flagship product. The E3 features narrow band to broadband channelling (12.5KHz to 20MHz) and a broad tuning range (30 to 900MHz). It will support all known RF protocols, from AM/FM through OFDM and everything in between, while offering a tailored flexibility never before seen in a commercial offering. Multimode capable — P25, DMR, POCSAG, Analog, TETRA and LTE can all be implemented. High linearity will offer robust connectivity. Conventional, Simulcast/multicast and trunked solutions are now available and have been deployed in various locations. In the paging arena, dynamically controlled intersite equalisation coupled with high power, wide area coverage eliminates the need for constant network alignment and maintenance. The release of our new console product enables voice paging and data to be integrated across numerous disparate networks (VHF, UHF, LTE and QAM) whilst supporting P25, analogue and data (incl paging) protocols. As the digital conveyance from both PMR and mobile broadband converge RF Technology has released server PTT solutions and data rich applications to leverage these new emerging technologies. RF Technology along with RF Technology Americas are combining to provide an all-encompassing, unique offering by applying agile IP expertise along with flexible radio network solutions to suit all mission- and business-critical operators.
