System Engineering Technologist
Since joining Tait Communications in 2003, Ryan has gained extensive experience in deployment projects designing, installing and commissioning analog, DMR and P25 communications networks, as well as providing phone, emergency and on-site support to key partners as part of the support team.
Before joining the engineering team, Ryan spent 6 years working as a Tait Communications technician repairing, building and maintaining terminals, infrastructure and systems, and completed an apprenticeship in Electro-Technology Communications. After his time in the workshop Ryan went on to complete the Tait Technical Development Programme — a three-year intensive program working in four key areas within the business — design, sales engineering, deployment and support after which he moved into the engineering team as a customer support engineer and more recently moved into a systems engineering role designing and deploying communications networks.
