Daniel Oliphant has over 16 years’ experience in command and control environments. Graduating from the University of Queensland with a BE (Communications and Electronics) and BSc (Physics), he started his career as a project engineer with AWA in 1996 working on defence simulators, rail and public safety command systems. After obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Management from the Queensland University of Technology, Daniel spent time in WA as a project manager on government projects before taking on systems engineering and sales territory management roles within Zetron. Returning to Brisbane in 2009 as product manager for Zetron’s leading dispatch console system, he is currently an active member of working groups with the DMR Association to define open standard interfaces and provides input to members of the P25 Technology Interest Group.
